Anthony Poppe grew up in Miami after his family moved to the city in 1987. Anthony graduated from the University of Florida with a BBA in economics and received a MSc in finance from the University of Groningen, a Dutch university in partnership with the University of Florida. After finishing school in 2006, Anthony moved back to Miami, and began his career working for Aon Risk Services. Anthony continued pursuing his specific interests in finance and in 2008 took a position with Firestone Capital Management, an independent wealth management firm serving the local community. Anthony has since earned the right to use both the Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations, and is now also a partner at Firestone Capital.

Anthony lives in Coconut Grove and had the good fortune to be introduced to The Woody Foundation through the organization’s local outreach. Anthony currently serves as a board liaison to The Woody Foundation.
